The Royal Free Hospital is a major teaching hospital in the Hampstead area of the London Borough of Camden.

The hospital is part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The Private Patients Unit (PPU) selected Otrum and our partner Airwave to provide the patient TV solution.

Patients are able to access hospital information directly from the TV, while also enjoying a rich range of Movies and TV channels – but most importantly being able to cast their own content from mobile devices to the patient TV using the OtrumCast service from Otrum

The Aga Khan Hospital, in Dar es Salaam was established in 1964, as a multispecialty 74-bed hospital offering quality health care for the people of Tanzania.

In 2018, the expansion of the Hospital transformed the institution into a world-class health care facility. A leading 170-bed teaching and tertiary care referral hospital enabled it to provide a significantly higher level of specialised care combining cutting-edge technology with highly skilled human resources.

The Aga Khan Patient TV solution was delivered by Otrum’s local partner HSC (Hospitality Systems Consultants.) The patient TV platform informs, educates and entertains the patient during their entire stay, including helpful videos on treatments, recovery and facility orientation.

Spital Limmattal
As a major specialty hospital with a comprehensive training mandate, the Limmattal Hospital takes on the extended basic medical care of over 77,000 patients annually. It also offers top medicine and in-depth expert knowledge in numerous surgical and medical disciplines. The hospital has 306 beds, as well as eight operating theaters.

More than 1,480 employees from 49 nations provide high-quality and varied services every day. The new building has been in operation since the end of 2018.

In co-operation with Otrum’s long term partner Hotelinnovativ, Otrum Digital Signage was installed across the public areas early in 2019. In total 20 signage displays are deployed to inform and guide both staff and patients throughout the facility, including everything from wayfinding to cafeteria menus.
